Nathan and I are in absolute shock.
I told Nathan that night...he was so cute about it....all "Are you sure??!!" and "Did you pee on this?" while looking at the positive tests. It is a moment I will never forget. I am really excited...but nervous of course. My beta's came back good...31 on 12dpo and 105 on 14dpo. I just don't feel comfortable telling people yet until I know that everything is okay. I can't wait to tell our families though. So today I am 4w6d. It is very very very early in the pregnancy. Im already having side effects though....extreme hunger, headaches, tiredness, insomnia, etc.
It is going to be a crazy ride :)
I thought I COULD be...so I tested last Monday with a cheap Dollar Tree test. I swore I saw a faint line, but when I looked at it later it seemed to be gone. So...I tested again on Tuesday morning with another cheap Dollar Tree test. Same thing...I THOUGHT I saw a line, but I wasn't sure. Luckily I had bought one of those pricey digital tests the day before...it took about 3 minutes..but there it was bright and clear...
I started laughing, and crying all at once. Nathan was at work and I didn't want to say anything until it was all confirmed by a doctor...so I had to calm myself before he got home. I had a blood test later that day. I knew I wouldn't get the results until Wednesday, so I bought 2 more tests to calm any fears. I ended up taking one in the Hobby Lobby bathroom while looking for a creative way to break the news to Nathan. This time it was positive within 30 seconds.
