So, two weeks early! I was having some pretty intense pain yesterday...concentrated around my left ovary area. Ive had ovarian cysts before so I was worried I had another one. I called my OB office and they said to come right in. Before anyone worries---everything is fine. They couldn't really give me a good answer for why I was hurting, except for it was possibly my ligaments moving and stretching. It seems to be better this morning so I don't want to jinx it. Obviously the big news of the day is we found out the gender! It is a girlllllllll! I cannot believe it. Deep in my heart I thought it was a boy, so when they told me girl..I started crying, I couldn't help it.

This little girl is already a drama queen too...she had the back of her hand on her forehead the WHOLE time...like she was saying "I cannot get comfortables.....wooooe is me!" It was hilarious and the ultrasound tech was laughing the whole time. Baby girl has everything in the right place...her heart looks good, her kidneys, her spine. She has a round little tummy and weighs around 8 oz. She is swallowing fluid and her bladder is in use. The tech says it looks like the baby empties her bladder every hour---sounds just like me right now! It was a really special moment...she recorded it on DVD for me since it was unplanned and Nathan wasn't there.

Speaking of Nathan---our little girl already has one of his features. LONG TOES! Ive always teased Nathan about his "alien toes"....looks like this baby has them too. She kept stretching them out and pointing her toes like a ballerina. (Sorry, if it sounds like Im going on and on and on and on..I can't help it!)

It was just a really awesome and overwhelming day. I went from being in pain to being on cloud nine, not a care in the world. I had to rush home and tell Nathan. We are both excited but terrified of when this girl turns into a teenager. We called our families, etc. Everyone is just so excited. Nathan and I are going to go pick out Baby Girl Diffee's first outfit today. Im only going to let myself buy ONE thing...since we don't even need anything yet. I just feel the need to buy something for her. Anyway....thank you all if you got through this squee-fest.
