My little baby is 11 weeks old today! Im enjoying her more and more every day. I think Ive finally made that transition to full-fledged mommyhood. Dirty diapers and midnight wakings no longer bother me, they are all part of the job I signed up for. When we first brought Amelia home I didn't know how I could cope with someone NEEDING me all the time, but now I love it. I love that I can calm her down and knowing what she likes, etc. Its a pretty awesome feeling.
Im loving all her firsts coming up as well. Her first Thanksgiving will be this week. Pretty soon it will be her first Christmas. Im looking forward to all our future holidays together. Im excited b/c Nathans parents are coming this week and they have not seen Amelia since she was a week old. Im sooo excited for them to see how much she has changed. She is already developing her own personality. Its going to be fun. We put the Christmas tree up yesterday (a little one!), and Im hoping it will be a tradition every year to have Amelia with me watching and helping out. She likes to look at the lights.
Its getting colder here now....we are getting to bring out all her cute hats and jackets. Im still not enjoying work, but we have bills to pay so I have to do it. I just hate leaving her behind. My dads wife helps out by watching Amelia a couple hours each day, then Nathan has her the rest of the time, so I know she is in good hands. There is just nothing worse than leaving your child behind though. I hate it!

she is getting cuter and cuter by the day!! i hope one day we will be able to come and visit. or at least just me. i would love to meet your little girl!
Yay for first holidays with our little ones! She is so cute all bundled up. Hope you have fun with the in-laws!
