My sweet "baby" girl turned ten months old last week! I know I say this all the time, but WHERE does the time go?!
Rowan is a walker now...she has totally mastered it. She can go from one side of the room to the other without falling, and if she sits down she can stand up without pulling up on anything. She also loves to hold Mommy's hand and walk. I had her at work the other day and she was pulling me all through the food court. She is so proud of herself when she walks too..she yelps and shrieks, its so cute.
She also likes to carry things while she walks..toys, books, whatever. She holds them up in the air waving her arms around, like...Look at me! Im walking AND carrying something!!
She loves going to the park and riding the swings. Its sooo hot lately I don't even like to go. We are still having awful nights here. I get no sleep, and Rowan gets a night full of waking up. We are working on it but it is a daily struggle with that.
Our other struggle is FOOD. Rowan will ONLY eat fruit. She used to love squash and green beans. But since we started giving her table foods she only wants fruit. She loves mandarin oranges, pineapple, peaches, pears.....she refuses all meats, breads, yogurt, cheese, she won't eat ANY vegetables....its unreal. She is so picky. Ive tried going back to pureed vegetable just to get her to eat a bite or two but she spits it right out. So frustrating. Im also trying to wean her from nursing at night, and that is very slow going. I don't want her to have to do it cold turkey, but I plan on weaning at a year so she needs to slowly get used to not nursing at night. A lot of changes are coming up for her at a year...no more bottle, no night nursing, she can have regular milk.....
All in all, life is good. Just wish we could work out a few of the bumps in the road.

She is quite the happy young lady!!! Her smile is precious!!!! I can't believe she is old enough to be walking around!! Time sure does fly by!!! I hope she will give in to other foods soon. Has she tried mashed potatoes?
