WHERE has my baby gone?! Rowan is quickly turning into a toddler. She now says Bye Bye, Da-da, Hey, Hopla (her favorite tv show) and Mama. On occasion she will combine those words, like "Hey Da-da" Or "Hey Mama!" It is so adorable. She will ONLY do it when SHE wants to though, there is no coercing her into doing it in front of other people *lol* She does this other thing too, where she will be in the middle of playing, turn around and wave and say Hey! Its so funny.
She is still working on her walking...she can do it perfectly while pushing a toy, or keeping one finger on the sofa. She will take 2-3 steps unassisted but then she sits down and crawls the rest of the way. She knows she can get there quicker that way! We are still cloth diapering part time, but its almost full time! Im so proud of myself for sticking with it. We only use 1-2 disposable diapers in a 24 hour period. She does sleep in Pampers through the night b/c they will hold a lot more pee pee, but during the day its almost all cloth! GO us!
I am having a hard time getting her to try new foods. Im a picky eater and Im afraid she will take after me. She refuses all meats, dairy and only likes certain fruits and vegetables.
We are still having a lot of ROUGH nights here and Rowan usually wakes anywhere from 3-6 times a night. It is really hard on me since I deal with most of her night wakings. Nathan is really good about getting up with her in the morning though, so I can get a little sleep. Ive tried everything with her...sleeping in bed with me, moving her to her crib, night lights, music, rocking, night nursing, etc. She wakes up every 2-3 hours no matter what. I have even let her fuss/cry to see if she will put herself back to sleep, but I just don't see how crying gets her back to sleep. Ugh. Lack of sleep is my only complaint at this point.

We did "Cry it Out" to get Hailey to sleep through the night. Crying just wears them out and as long as she's not sick or doesn't cry herself into convulsions, she should just fall asleep. It's hard to do b/c everything in you wants to go to her but it really does work :) Good luck! And the pics are great!!!

she sounds like she sleeps like her cousin ethan! we tried EVERYthing in all the books-nothing worked! when he was about 18 months he started to get better on his own. guess that is not encouraging, but at least you know she's not the only one and it will pass eventually.
