Its been awhile since I update---OOPS!
Life has been very busy, the holiday season is hectic for me at work, and between Nathan and I working alternate shifts and watching Rowan, there is just never enough time in the day!
Things are good....Rowan is such a blessing in our lives! She is very bright, energetic and curious about everything. She is starting to talk and try out new words and can now say ball, car, mama, dada, baby...and a few others. Her sign language vocabulary is growing as well. She has caught on to sign language faster than I would have imagined. She can sign milk, more, eat, hat, baby, car, ball, bath, wash hands....it is really amazing to see. Hopefully this skill will help her communicate with us, and make it easier for her to learn other things as well.
Rowan LOVES being outside..it is probably her favorite thing, which is hard for me because I am very much an indoor person. I am working on it though since I know how happy it makes her!
Our latest "drama" is Rowans PACI. She has decided literally out of nowhere that she wants one ALL the time. She never wanted one, even as an infant she spit them out. But she found one in her toybox, stuck it in, and ever since then when she feels she needs a bit of comfort or quiet time, she gets a paci.
Its interesting to me b/c whenever she has her paci in she is a very calm and cuddly little thing. But as soon as you take it out she is babbling and running and playing. Its almost as if she does it so she just has some quiet time. In any case..I think Ill let her have it for now, its not really hurting anything. Ill take it away in a couple months.
