Rowan is going to have a baby sister! Our gender appointment was this week, and there was no question---its a GIRL!! I am thrilled. It means I can re-use a lot of Rowans clothes, the seasons don't really match up so we will have to get some things, but over all we have a lot to use.
I am not really showing much yet, and most people are surprised when I tell them Im pregnant. I actually had a customer at work say "You must mean 5 WEEKS." after I told her I was 5 months pregnant! I take it as a compliment b/c I know the baby is doing well. She is smaller than Rowan was at this stage, but only measuring a few days smaller, so not too much.
So I can say Im officially excited about this baby now. After being sick for MONTHS I had a lot of fears of...What did I get myself into?! But now that I can place a gender on the baby, and start getting ready it feels a lot more real to me. I hope Rowan and her sister will get along and be friends for life!!
