Im 14 weeks today, and Im HOPING this means an end to the miserable morning (noon & night) sickness I have been suffering. The past couple of weeks have been the worst. I could barely even function yesterday.
Baby Diffee is doing lots of amazing things now....
His/Her thyroid gland has matured and begins producing hormoneswhich will be used throughout his or her life.
In boys, the prostate gland develops.
In girls, the ovaries move from the abdomen to the pelvis.
Our little one may have learned to suck his/her thumb by this point!
Its bones are getting harder and stronger by the day!
Your baby's skin is very transparent still.
Baby is 3.42 inches long and weighs about 1.52 ounces - approximately the weight of a letter!
It is still too early for me to feel the baby move--sometimes I sit very still and concentrate, trying to see if I feel anything yet but I don't. I have taken new belly pictures but they are kind of......not exciting. My tummy is smaller now than it was 3 weeks ago. Its kind of funny.

Sorry that you have been so sick, but take it as a good thing. You know your baby is growing and doing what he/she should right now.
The 2nd tri. does get better and it should be just a few more weeks and you will feel that baby kick!! then it is the fun part. sore ribs but you will love every minute of it!!
