I waited a few days to do my Week 28 update since I had a Dr appointment yesterday. Everything went "pretty well". I got lots of good information from my OBGYN---like when to pre-register at the hospital, advice on pediatricians, etc. The only "bad" thing is I have gained 20 lbs already----I don't FEEL like I have gained 20 lbs, it is possible that some of that is fluid retention. Anyway. Dr. Ballard really only wanted me to gain 25 lbs max. Im 5 lbs away from that and I still have 11 1/2 weeks left. So, she told me to watch my sugar intake especially, but also salt and carbs. She said since I came so close to failing the glucose test (I only passed by 1 point) that I need to be acting as if I failed, that sugar obviously has an effect on me. BOOO. This advice comes the week where all I want is ice cream. No fun!Our crib came yesterday, so we are one step closer to getting the nursery ready. Ill post pictures as soon as everything is "set up". We have a dresser to paint, and I still haven't decided whether or not to get a changing table.

oh don't let your doctor give you a hard time about how much weight you gain. i never look at the scale in the 3rd tri anyway and don't want to hear it from them either.
You look great!! Wow! almost to the 30s!!! How cool is that?!?!?
you look beautiful!!! I dont see at all where you have gained 20 pounds!! Dont let your dr get you down about your weight, every women grows differently and gains a different amount,as long as you dont get close to the 40-50 lb marker Im sure you will be just fine :)
I can't wait to see pics of the finished nursery!
