Amelia---three weeks old!

Amelia is three weeks old today....I can't believe it. She is such a little cutie-pie....most of the time she is super calm and laid back. She really only cries when she is hungry or getting her diaper changed. She hates getting her diaper changed. She would rather sit in her own poo I guess! She has a hard time at night still---she would rather sleep than eat, which is miserable for me because it takes her well over an hour to nurse each time. I got about 4 1/2 hours of sleep last night for instance. She is doing a lot better during the day thoough, giving me signs that she is hungry, etc. She is def. the "boss" around here though...and the star of the show. There is never an hour that goes by where Nathan and I are yelling "grab the camera!! She is being so cute right now.." Ill probably go broke paying for pictures of her. She is already changing so much though. She has grown 2 inches since she was born, and she is up to 8 lbs 1 oz...probably more so now, since that was a few days ago.
She really is awesome though...it is such hard work, but its okay that is hard..its so hard to explain it, but once she got here I couldn't remember what my life was like without her. Im not sure what I did with all my extra time! These days all I want to do is lay on the couch and cuddle with my daughter. I know the day will come where she won't want to do that anymore!!!
She does have a clogged tear duct, which I think is frustrating for her----she constantly has tears in her eyes and we have to clean them a lot. Hopefully that will go away soon, she seems to hate it. Other than that she is totally healthy, her Pedi. gave her a clean bill of health. We go back in six weeks!
