Its hard work!!! I never realized how much you can do on so little sleep though. I think I have started to get used to being tired. With Nathans parents here last week, and my mom here helping right---we don't have to worry about meals or the dishes getting done. Its nice to know the house isn't a complete wreck. I spend about 8-12 hours a day either breastfeeding or trying to get Amelia to breastfeed. It has been a real struggle and it can wear you down emotionally. She has had problems latching on, but we are working at it and she is gaining weight. She is 1 oz. away from being back at her birth weight. She is 8 days old...I can't believe it!

keep hanging in there. one day you will sleep again-i promise!

Oh WOW!! she is so beautiful! time really does go by fast. you will be having that 2 week check up before you know it.
hope that BF is going better. it does get easier! just hang in there and don't give up. FREE milk is always the best.
