20 weeks (or so..)

I have been trying anything I can to get this baby to SLEEP, and nothing seems to be working. She is now getting rice cereal every night, its not helping her sleep, but she does seem to like it so I guess Ill continue it. It is a huge mess every night, but sooo funny. Amelia opens her mouth up as soon as she sees the spoon coming her way. Most of it ends up on her bib, but Im confident that some of it is getting in. She seems to be getting better with it every night.
We aslo spent a small fortune (not really!) on toys this week. KB Toys was closing, and their sales got as high as 80-90% off the regular price. We stocked up for Christmas this year and next, Amelia's birthdays, stuff for my brothers kids, etc. People at my job even bought toys for Amelia. We literally have a closet FULL of stuff. Some of it we will be able to use soon, some of it is for when she will be 3-4 years old. My boss bought her this Baby Elmo she she seems to like it a lot. Her new favorite "toys" are her swing----after 4 1/2 months she FINALLY likes her swing. She doesn't sleep in it, but she loves to watch the mobile at the top.
Her other favorite is cardboard paper--its amazing. She wants to hold playing cards or anything of that texture. If you take it away she throws a tantrum!! It is funny, but kind of weird too, haha. In fact, she is holding one right now, it is the only thing that would keep her calm while I posted this blog. If anyone is interested I added some new videos to her youtube page (like on the left), of her laughing, in her swing, in the bath. She is trying to roll over from her back to her stomach but so far she has only done it once--and of course she did it while I was out of the room. She was on her back, I walked out for a sec, came back in and she was on her stomach.
I guess thats about it for this week. Ive been trying to think about making this blog more DIFFEE family themed, but Nathan and I are so boring there is really nothing to add about us. We both work, come home, spend time with the baby, then repeat it the next day. Ill try to do better though :)

she is soo darn cute!!! I would be stocking up on toys with such an awesome sale too!! Heck I buy things now not on sale and Tegan isn't big enough to play with them yet. haha I always say "well when she is big enough to play with that you wont be able to find it anymore". lol
