Amelia is 4 months old today!! She had her 4 month appointment yesterday---her stats are: 16 lbs and 26 inches long! Her Dr. said she might be tall, but its so hard to tell at this age. He said she is really long though. We were at the Dr. for over 2 hours, and Amelia was so good the entire time. Near the end she started getting restless, but so did I!!! We ended up not getting her shots this week since they were out of two of them. I opted to come back next week and get them all at once. No need to put her through getting shots twice in one week!
Her Dr. said she was really strong and had great head control but that we need to work on her rolling over, so Nathan and I have been helping her "practice." She thinks its a game and laughs a lot during our rolling over sessions.
In sad news...Nathan and I had to find a new home for our two cats, Toonces & Nacho. We have had them for years so it was hard to do. We had many reasons...mainly the cats being jealous of Amelia. They would wake her up meowing at night, they started to forget where the litter pan was, etc. Hissing and growling at the baby. It was fine for now, but she is getting a lot more mobile...I could just see the day where she reached out towards one and got swatted. So, they are in good hands and hopefully they will be happier now.
Other than that---Nathans family was here for the New Year/ Late Christmas. It was fun, but I had to work (of course---like I always do, argh!) We all got a lot of neat stuff. Amelia got two really cute outfits, one that Aunt Marie made, I can't wait to dress her up in them! Besides that, Nathan and I have a new years resolution to get our finances in order. Pretty difficult when you are getting a new hospital bill every other week. I think Amelia will end up costing us a little over $3000 out of pocket. Could be worse I guess! Ive become obsessed with clipping coupons in the meantime though :)

she is getting soo big! I can't believe how fast babies grow, they are like little weeds!!! She is such a little cutie pie. I know what you mean about dr bills..I swear every day there is a new one coming! bills are bills though, they will always be there.
i was just going through my blog reader and realized i somehow missed this one! on no! and we were the stars of it! if she ever gets to wear that monkey-suit please take a pic for me ;) i'd love to see it on her.
ok, now off to read the 250 blog posts on my reader- um... a little behind. not sure i'll ever catch up!
